HIKE TO MONTAUT DI PELSA

Mont'Aut di Pelsa (2,417 m) is a peak in the Civetta group. The hike starts from Rifugio Vazzoler (1,714 m). As you ascend, the panorama becomes increasingly breathtaking, offering views of the Pale di San Martino, the Trentino Dolomites, and the Ampezzo Dolomites. Upon reaching the summit of Mont'Aut di Pelsa, the view is simply unforgettable.
From Rifugio Vazzoler, continue on the small road that soon exits the forest and crosses the landslide at the base of the Torre Venezia. The path then begins to ascend again, and shortly after, you reach a fork (1,789 meters): the road continues straight towards Rifugio Tissi, but take the left fork towards Casera di Pelsa, leading up to Col del Camp. The start of trail 562 is neither visible nor marked, but from Col del Camp, follow the edge of the forest until you find the entrance to trail 562. From there, continue to the start of the "fiamme gialle" via ferrata, always among the dwarf pines. By staying on the ridge, you can reach the summit following a faint and sometimes non-existent trail. For the return, follow the same route back.
